Request the Authorization to Practice Physiotherapy in France

To have the right to practice physiotherapy in France, holders of a foreign diploma must first request the authorization to practice the profession of physiotherapist in France.

The request for the authorization to practice and the request for recognition of the diploma are two separate procedures. It is recommended to start with the procedure for recognizing a foreign diploma (see our page on validation of the diploma in France), otherwise the authorization request has no chance of succeeding.
